Shahi Tukra(শাহী টুকরা)

  1. Bread- 2 piece
  2. Milk - 4 cup
  3. Condensed milk- 1/2 cup
  4. Cardamom powder- 1/4 ts
  5. Egg -1
  6. Sugar - 1 Tbs
  7. Salt -1/4 ts
  8. Oil - 4 Tbs
  9. Almond(chopped)-1/4 cup

  1. Separate 1 Tbs milk in a bowl, then take rest of milk in a pan, add cardamom powder, boil it and make it approximately 1 cup. During boil stir continuously, otherwise milk will be burn down. Then add condensed milk and again boil it one more time.
  2. Now toast bread to a light brown color in a pan or in a toaster. Cut it in four square shape or two triangular shape and set aside.
  3. Beat the egg with the separated milk in the bowl. Add sugar, salt and beat it well.

  4. Heat oil in a frying pan to a medium heat. When oil is hot, deep one piece of bread into the beaten egg, put it in oil and fry the both side carefully to a brown color, then take out on a paper towel. Fry rest of the piece in same process.
  5. Take all the fried bread on a serving dish and arranged it in one layer, then spread half of the boiled milk on top of the bread, cover it and wait 10 minutes.
  6. After that again spread the rest half milk on the top and garnish the top by spreading chopped almond.
  7. Serve the delicious dessert.
